Dermatofibromas frequently occur on the leg, usually as a single firm, raised pink to brown bump. Dermatofibromas are usually very firm to hard to the touch. They are most frequent on the arms and legs but can occur anywhere. Dermatofibromas are benign, usually very firm to hard skin lesions that do not resolve over time. This image displays a dome-shaped, firm, slightly pink dermatofibroma. Dermatofibromas can be raised or sunken. Dermatofibromas are firm, smooth, and often are deeper in color than the surrounding skin.
