Poikiloderma of Civatte typically occurs on the neck and, in a v-shaped distribution, on the upper chest that includes redness and a "chicken-skin" appearance. As displayed in this image, Poikiloderma of Civatte is displayed as redness on the neck and the "v" of the chest in fair-skinned individuals.  The red areas have prominent hair follicles creating a "chicken-skin" appearance. This skin discoloration, due to chronic sun damage, has lacy areas of redness from dilated blood vessels.
