This child with miliaria rubra has many red, itchy bumps in area of redness. In miliaria rubra, the blocked sweat ducts often appear as dozens to hundreds of small pink or red bumps, all approximately the same size and shape. In miliaria rubra, the skin bumps (papules) are usually all approximately the same size and concentrated in the same skin area.
