Day Seven: Benefits of Chocolate for Skin

You can never go wrong by giving a woman chocolate for Valentine’s Day (unless she’s allergic or has a strong dislike, of course). And in addition to making your partner happy, recent evidence shows certain chocolate is actually good for you.

According to cnn.com, in one study, after 24 women drank a half cup of special extra-flavonoid-enriched cocoa, the women’s skin was moister, smoother, and less sensitive when exposed to ultraviolet light.

According to associatedcontent.com, one study showed that women who drank hot chocolate every day for 3 months reduced wrinkles by up to 25%. The flavonols in chocolate repair sun-damaged skin for a smoother appearance on the face.
