What can be done to prevent Shingles blisters from popping?

I think I have shingles and need som guidance on how to prevent the blisters from popping.

A mixture of aloe, marigold, witch hazel, other astringents and disinfectants, will help the skin heal. There are several topical treatments for shingles blisters. Where are your blister areas?
