I believe the Internet is changing health care in America and the world. Patients and consumers have access to more information now than ever before and are connecting both locally and globally. As an employee at a health information technology company, I feel that it is our responsibility to provide accurate, trusted, and easy-to-understand information to help consumers and patients.
Personally, I am connected to skin health. Several years ago I had a mole removed that turned out to be melanoma. I caught the melanoma early, but it helped me to realize the importance of being active and informed in my own health care.
